SX10 mast

100% PRE-PREG CARBON

The SX10 masts presents the best performance in the range with the fastest possible reflex response possible, giving the sails turbo charged acceleration, an extremely wide wind range and light-weight handling. 

SX10 stands for 100% carbon content. They are designed from a top grade and high tensile strength pre-preg carbon. This technology ensures optimum control of resin content and resin distribution throughout the laminate. The carbon layup features a inner layers of 45 degree carbon weave to control torsion and quick reflex respons. The outer layer carbon has a 90 degree orientation for highest possible strength.  

The SX10 mast feature a progressive constant curve which means that the bend curve is constant but the base is stiffer than the top. This provides optimal sail dynamics allowing the bottom of the sail to generate power, and the top of the rig to quickly release power. The bend curve of the SDM and RDM’s are compatible with one another, but the RDM's are  more durable, therefor more suitable for punishing wave conditions. SDM’s provide a faster reflex respons, better stability and faster acceleration, therefor more suitable for flatwater sailing.

SX8 mast

80% PRE-PREG CARBON

The SX8 presents high carbon content for quick reflex respons that will lighten the feeling of any rig. Using the same high performance construction and bend curve as the SX10, the SX8 offers high-end performance with added durability therefore it is the best compromise between performance and durability.

SX6 mast
60% PRE-PREG CARBON

The SX6 offers good performance and for all levels of windsurfers. A very price-focused mast that can be used with all our sails.

SX4 mast
40% PRE-PREG CARBON

The SX4 is the best choice for novice sailors who wants to bring their windsurfing to an experts level. With a 40% carbon content the SX4 delivers slightly softer handling which is ideal when you are starting out your windsurf career. Designed with the same bend curve as the higher level Simmer Style masts and using only the finest pre-preg carbon materials the SX4 delivers performance and superb durability.  

The bend curve of the SDM and RDM’s are compatible with one another, but the RDM’s are more durable, therefor more suitable for punishing wave conditions. SDM’s provide a faster reflex response, better stability and faster acceleration, therefor more suitable for flatwater sailing. The SX4 is our recommended mast for the Novex sail.
